Japan"}]},"item_5_biblio_info_7":{"attribute_name":"書誌情報","attribute_value_mlt":[{"bibliographicIssueDates":{"bibliographicIssueDate":"2009-11-30","bibliographicIssueDateType":"Issued"},"bibliographicPageEnd":"391","bibliographicPageStart":"377","bibliographicVolumeNumber":"40","bibliographic_titles":[{"bibliographic_title":"日本研究"}]}]},"item_5_description_4":{"attribute_name":"抄録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"　福沢諭吉ら明治啓蒙思想家たちは、明治維新を「四民平等」を実現した革命のように論じたが、黒船ショックが引き起こした倒幕運動は、開国か、尊皇攘夷かが争われ、紆余曲折を経て、尊皇開国に落ち着いたもので、その過程で政治の自由や四民平等がスローガンにあがったことはない。すでに、江戸時代のうちに、いのちの自由・平等思想がひろがり、身分制度も金の力でグズグズになっていたため、デモクラシーは至極当然のことのように受けとめられたのだった。明治新政府は、一八三七年一月に徴兵令の告諭を発し、国民の自由・平等を認め、それと引きかえに「国家の災害を防ぐ」ために、西洋でいう「血税」として、二十歳に達した男子に三年の兵役義務を課した。「国民皆兵」制度は、国民各自が自分の権力の一部を国家に提供し、秩序を維持し、各人の安全の保証を得るという自然権思想に立つものだが、明治啓蒙家たちの思想においては、自由、平等が未分化で、自然権思想や社会契約説の定着が見られないことが、すでに指摘されている。しかし、その理由については、これまで恣意的な分析しか行われてこなかった。","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"},{"subitem_description":"　その理由は、ヨーロッパやアメリカにおけり各種の「自由・平等」思想をひとくくりにして、天賦人権論として受けとめたこと、それらのリセプターとして、江戸時代に公認されていた朱子学の「天理」や、ひろく流布していた天道思想が働いたことに求められる。そして、江戸時代の通念では、いのちの自由と平等とがセットになっていたため、天賦人権論者たちは、あらためて自由と平等の関係について、それぞれを社会や国家と関係づけながら考えようとしなかったのである。それゆえ、個々人の諸権利についても、いのちにおける、社会における、国家におけるそれが切り分けられないまま、個人、社会、　国家の相互の関係についての考え方が、時どきの状況により、また論者の立場によって、たえず変化することになった。ここでは、まず「自由」「平等」が、どのように受け止められたのかについて検討し、そのうえで個々人の社会論、国家論を考えてみたい。外来の概念とその「リセプター」となった伝統概念とをあわせて考察すること、また、「自由と平等」のように、複数の概念を組み合わせて、個々人の概念形成を解明することは、社会的に流通する概念組織(conceptural system or
