本論文は、16世紀末に来日したイエズス会東インド管区巡察師アレッサンドロ・ヴァリニャーノが作成した茶の湯関連規則が、千利休によって形成されたわび茶の影響を受けていた可能性について、ローマイエズス会文書館所蔵の史料を用いて検証するものである。\n ヴァリニャーノは日本視察を通して意図の異なる2つの茶の湯関連規則を作成し、修道院内に茶の湯による接客態勢を整えた。その規則とは、1579年から1582年までの第1次視察中、豊後(大分)において作成された『日本の習俗と気質に関する注意と助言』(Advertimentos e avisos acerca dos costumes e catangues de Jappão 以下、『日本イエズス会士礼法指針』と称す)と、第2次日本視察を終え、1592年に滞在先のマカオにおいて作成した「日本管区規則」である。本稿では主に、後者に収録されている「茶の湯者規則」(Regras para o Chanoyuxa)と「客のもてなし方規則」(Regras do que tem comta de agasalhar os hospedes)を扱い、そこに示されている茶の湯規則と利休の茶の湯の心得との共通点を明らかにする。\n 本稿では『日本イエズス会士礼法指針』から、ヴァリニャーノの指示によって修道院で行われた茶の湯の準備態勢について検証したのち、「茶の湯者規則」「客のもてなし方規則」との相違点を浮き彫りにする。さらに、後者に示されている精神性と、『南方録』の「覚書」にみる利休の茶の湯の心得との共通性を検証する。以上の研究で導き出された結果から、「茶の湯者規則」と「客のもてなし方規則」には、わび茶の影響が及んでいたことが明らかとなった。","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_5_full_name_3":{"attribute_name":"著者別名","attribute_value_mlt":[{"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"23701","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}],"names":[{"name":"SMUTNY,
