近世は諸芸に関する出版文化が盛行した時代であった。茶の湯は武士以外に民衆にも浸透し、茶会で広がる人と人のつながりは、経済や技術の交流とも重なった。そのため民衆は茶会作法を心得ておく必要があり、そこに欠かせないのが茶湯書の出版であった。一方で近世の民衆に流布していた節用集の付録記事には、日本の地理・歴史・礼節など通俗的な教養ともいうべき知識が紹介されており、近世人の歴史認識・国家意識や社会・生活・教育の変化を反映している。\n 著者の関心は、近世の人々が書物を通じてどのような茶の湯の知識を得ていたのかにある。そこで本稿では従来研究されることのなかった近世節用集の付録記事(茶の湯の内容)に注目し、既刊の茶湯書との連関性を分析したところ、次の点を明らかにした。\n 第一に、書肆は民衆のニーズに応えるため、茶会作法の知識や初学者向けに合理的に記された茶湯書『茶湯初心抄』(寛文12年刊)や貝原益軒著『三礼口訣』を節用集に掲載したこと。\n 第二に、書肆はその情報に新たに挿絵を加え、茶の湯の理解を導く工夫を凝らしたことである。しかも専門的な内容をもつ既刊の茶湯書に挿絵は掲載されておらず、節用集に点前の挿絵を付したことは、節用集ならではの特徴であることを明らかにした。\n 織豊期から近世初期(寛永期頃)における茶会作法や知識の習得方法は、師匠からの口伝=稽古を通じて身体の所作(型)などを体得することにあったが、元禄・享保期頃になると、民衆レベルでも稽古と並行して、書物からも茶会作法を学ぶことができる新しい環境が整ってきたといえる。換言すると『茶湯初心抄』などの本文に、新たに挿絵を付して節用集に掲載されたことは、茶の湯の知識が、大衆的な読者へと広く共有されていくことを示している。茶の湯の知識は、地域や身分の相違を越えた社会共通の認識の一つとして元禄・享保期頃に形成され始めたと考えられる。","subitem_description_language":"ja","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_2_full_name_3":{"attribute_name":"著者別名","attribute_value_mlt":[{"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"23428","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}],"names":[{"name":"TOKUMARU,
